What this site is
DRHDMI8K.CO.UK is a technical reference site about the HDfury DR HDMI 8K — a 48Gbps / 1500MHz HDMI 2.1 EDID manager, HDMI emulator and repeater. It documents EDID management, HDMI handshake troubleshooting, high-bandwidth 8K60 and 4K120 workflows, Dolby Vision and LLDV EDID control, HDMI audio capability handling and related HDMI 2.1 topics.
The purpose is to answer real technical questions in enough detail to be useful, rather than to act as a product landing page.
Where the information comes from
Technical statements on this site are based on the official DR HDMI 8K user manual, the product’s documented specifications and firmware behaviour, and published HDMI specifications. The manual is available as a download from the manual page.
Where behaviour depends on the rest of the HDMI chain — the source, the display or projector, an AV receiver, or the cable — the guides say so. DR HDMI 8K is a diagnostic and control point in that chain; it is not a guarantee that every HDMI problem is caused by EDID.
