Preserve the sink's Dolby Vision information
Once the sink's DV string has been captured, the manual describes using it in an automixed EDID so the source receives DV information that remains compatible with the display. This can be useful in a chain where additional equipment sits between the source and display.
Construct a custom Dolby Vision data block
When the DV EDID flag is set to CUSTOM, the web interface can construct a custom DV data block. The manual lists controls for the DV interface type, primaries, YUV 4:2:2 12-bit support, global dimming, backlight control, minimum backlight luminance and 10/12-bit support.
