The EXPORT CONFIG option on the CONFIG page saves the current configuration and settings to a text file named DR8K-CONFIG-DATE.txt. That file can be shared for support purposes or with the community.
What is in the file
The export presents the active information, the EDID and the options set on the unit, plus a list of parameters in JSON form. The fields include:
Identity and firmware
- product, serial, version — model, serial number and firmware version.
- time, hostname, ipaddress — timestamp and network identity.
Live link state
- txhpd, rxhpd, rx5v — hot-plug and +5V detection on each side.
- frlrate, tmdsclk, tmdsclkf, tmdsratio, scramble — the physical link parameters.
EDID on both sides
- txedidname, txedidvideoformat, txedidvideocaps, txedidaudiodolby, txedidaudiodts, txedidaudiopcm — what the connected sink advertises.
- rxedidname and the matching rx fields — what the source is being told.
- edidmode, edidcustomtable, edidoverflow — the active EDID mode and selected table.
- EDIDRX0 and EDIDTX0 — the complete raw EDID blocks in hexadecimal.
Network and display options
- staticip, activeip, dhcp, tcpport, macaddr, mdns, ipinterrupt — the full network configuration.
- txplus5, oled, oledpage, oledfade — TX +5V force and the OLED settings.
Before you share it: the export includes the unit serial number, MAC address and local IP addresses. Remove or mask those if you are posting the file somewhere public.
